(FamilyRetirementClub.com)- First it was Harry, then it was Hermione…and now it’s Ron! Actor Rupert Grint, who plays the ginger companion of Harry Potter in the hugely successful movie franchise, has hit back at Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling after she dared say biological sex is real.
Actors Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe recently turned their backs on the author who made them famous, and now Grint is getting in on the action suggesting that JK. Rowling was expressing “judgment” of trans people.
“I firmly stand with the trans community and echo the sentiments expressed by many of my peers,” he said to the Sunday Times newspaper. “Trans women are women. Trans men are men. We should all be entitled to live with love and without judgment.”
His comments came in response to comments by Rowling, in which she clearly expressed her love for many trans people, and even described her empathy for them, but also had the audacity to say transgender women cannot menstruate.
Newsflash: they can’t.
“If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction,” Rowling recently wrote in an essay. “If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”
She said that the idea that women like her, “who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades” and who have felt a kinship with transwomen who can feel vulnerable in the same way as women, “hate” people is a “nonsense.”
Despite this, the media (and far-left activists) ran with the story and accused Rowling of being a hateful bigot. Even though Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe know J.K. Rowling well, they both used their platform to drag her name through the mud and publicly disagree with her reasonable stance on the matter.
Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.

By the way, this is a woman who has long railed against conservatives. She is by no means the kind of hateful bigot the left claims to oppose, and Rowling herself has even accused others of being bigots. She once described President Donald Trump as being “worse than Voldemort.”
So maybe these are her chickens coming home to roost…
