Trump Calls Bolton A “LIAR” and a “WACKO”

( President Donald Trump unleashed on former National Security Advisor (and war hawk!) John Bolton on Thursday after copies of Bolton’s book were leaked to the press. The book, which was blocked from being published, reportedly contains lies about President Trump and classified information that should not have been published.

Nonetheless, it was seen by multiple American media outlets, with newspapers choosing to publish excerpts of the book and publish summaries.

On Twitter, President Trump reacted to the news, calling Bolton a “wacko” and accusing him of lying.

“Wacko John Bolton’s ‘exceedingly tedious’ (New York Times) book is made up of lies & fake stories,” Trump said.

Trump said Bolton “said all good” about him until the day he was fired, and that he is a “disgruntled boring fool who only wanted to go to war.”

President Trump also took the opportunity to remind his followers of the reason why Bolton had also been fired by former Republican president George W. Bush. Trump accused Bolton of being “incompetent,” and describe his book as being a “compilation of lies.”

One of the most shocking stories to come from the book leak was one that suggested President Donald Trump permitted President Xi Jinping of China to build concentration camps. Bolton even claimed that Trump approved of Jinping building the camps so that China would import more goods to help his re-election campaign.

U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer cast major doubt on the claims, however, denying the story completely during a Wednesday hearing before the Senate Finance Committee.

“Absolutely untrue, never happened,” he said. “I was there, I have no recollection of that ever happening. I don’t believe it’s true, I don’t believe it ever happened,” he said.

President Donald Trump also suggested that Bolton’s decision to publish the book was a chance to “get even.”
