(FamilyRetirementClub.Com)- Remember Kamala Harris? Me neither.
She’s the Democratic Senator for California who once described herself as a frontrunner in the race to become the Democratic nominee, but who quickly dropped out of the race back in 2019.
During a recent episode of The View, Harris tried to elbow her way back into relevance, telling the far-left hosts of the show that the president is a “drug pusher” for offering hope to Americans who want the best possible chance of fighting coronavirus.
“He’s got to stop,” Harris said. “We don’t want a drug pusher for president. We want somebody who takes that stage and speaks to the crisis in a way that is about bringing relief.”
Don’t drugs bring relief, Kamala?
This isn’t the first time Harris has lashed out at the idea of people taking drugs that could genuinely help them. Five months ago, Harris called drug makers “high-level dope dealers.”
Whatever her problem may be with harmful drugs, however, it’s not relevant to hydroxychloroquine. The antimalarial drug has been used by many doctors across the United States and some hospitals in Europe have claimed success with using the drug to treat COVID-19. While the verdict is still out, the president offers hope for millions of people who want to fight the disease the best they can.
Don’t people have the right to try?
Harris doesn’t seem to get it, though, and continued her rant on The View saying she has “no idea” why the president keeps promoting the use of the drug – despite the fact it has been in use widely since 1955 for various other ailments.
“The president keeps taking the stage and, as opposed to what Dr. Fauci and medical health professionals are telling us, pushing this drug,” she said.
Harris must have missed the many occasions during the daily press briefings when the president refers to the expert advice of his White House Coronavirus Task Force.
Don’t forget the time Fauci told the press that the president never says “no” to important advice.
What’s Harris’s game here?
