(FamilyRetirementClub.com)- Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will seemingly do anything to appease the far-left radicals in his party, including kowtowing to the identity politics agenda. The insatiable nature of these activists, however, became apparent this week when Hispanic organizers within his election campaign wrote a scathing letter to the Democratic Party of Florida, claiming that they were experiencing a “toxic” work environment.
According to the Miami Herald, Hispanic workers claim that Biden isn’t doing enough for non-white people and his campaign is actively “suppressing the Hispanic vote.”
The letter detailed eight specific allegations against the Biden campaign. Activists claimed Biden was responsible for the “mistreatment of field organizers, relocating trained staff members without explanation, lack of organizing resources, and taking on volunteers who are then left in limbo.”
Outside of the accusations about suppressing the Hispanic vote, it sure sounds like the Biden campaign just doesn’t know what they’re doing.
Staffers claim that the campaign “lacks key infrastructure and perpetuates a ‘toxic’ work culture that is hurting morale among on-the-ground staffers.”
And we’re meant to believe a campaign this disorganized is leading President Donald Trump in public opinion? Okay…
The letter explained how “four of five Spanish-speaking organizers along the I-4 corridor who were moved to North Florida were Puerto Rican,” and that the Florida campaign is “suppressing the Hispanic vote by removing Spanish-speaking organizers from Central Florida without explanation.” The staffers claim that the campaign is failing to confront a “system of white-dominated politics” that they are “supposed to be working against as organizers of a progressive party.”
I thought progressives were meant to look beyond race? Call me old fashioned…
With just one hundred days to go until the November presidential election, a letter like this could hurt Biden with his core constituents. Until now he has managed to, somehow, toe the line between the moderates and radicals in his party – but a letter like this makes it clear that no matter how much pandering he does on the environment or other key policies, the far-left activists in his party will always hate him for being a white man.
Florida is the state where the Democrats should be making their best play. President Trump beat Hillary Clinton by just 1.2% last time. But instead, it looks like the Democrats are messing it up all over again!
