Halle Berry Withdraws From Movie Over Trans Backlash

(FamilyRetirementClub.com)- Halle Berry, the Oscar award-winning actress, has pulled out from consideration of playing the role of a trans character in an upcoming movie. Berry has been caught in the trans madness of radical progressive activists who now say that trans characters can only be played by trans actors, and gay people played by gay actors. Oh, and black characters in cartoons can only be voiced by black people.

Crazy, right?

Berry recently said that she would “probably” play the role of a transgender man but has since reversed that decision, stating that she won’t be considered for the role because she plans to be an “ally.”

“Over the weekend I had the opportunity to discuss my consideration of an upcoming role as a transgender man, and I’d like to apologize for those remarks,” she said on Twitter. “As a cisgender wo0man, I now understand that I should not have considered this role and that the transgender community should undeniably have the opportunity to tell their own stories.”

It sounds like someone being held hostage, doesn’t it? Who decides that she can’t play a trans person? Isn’t that the whole point of…acting?

“I am grateful for the guidance and critical conversation over the past few days and I will continue to listen, educate, and learn from this mistake,” she said. “I vow to be an ally in using my voice to promote better representation on-screen, both in front of and behind the camera.”

Granted, if Berry didn’t say these things, she would immediately be canceled…but it’s hard to defend capitulating to the mob like this, isn’t it?

It came after a Hollywood Reporter interview where she said she would play the character of a woman who transitions to a man. “She’s a character in a project I love that I might be doing,” she said.

Just saying that you might play the role is enough to trigger these activists…

Who put these people in charge?
